How did Frank Thomas end up? 0-13? The Tigers' pitching completely shut him down....shocking. Milton Bradley was definitely the ace for the A's this series, but, as simple simon so keenly pointed out, "there was only so much he could do."

I always though Ken Macha was one bad manager, but now I think he may be the worst. I felt that nothing could top his pinch -hitting Adam Melhuse for Jermaine Dye in 2003, with the series against the Red Sox on the line and the tying and winning runs on base, but when you have the bases loaded in the eighth in a tie game and let MARCO SCUTARO bat, that tops em all.

What a break that was for Detroit. I think Jason Grilli should probably send his paycheck to Macha. Maybe a coupla bucks to Ledezma, too.
