They want him, and they are now hashing out a contract. I'm sorry, did anybody in Detroit watch Eddie Belfour between the pipes last season? Cause, um, he stunk.
They are also talking to Hasek, which makes my brain do double time. Great. An old guy who just had surgery and stunk last year and an old guy who just had surgery and didn't stink, but ended up sitting out part of last year. two guys who got outshone by their number 2s. Manny legace must have slept with the boss's wife or something because this is mind blowing.

Well, I'm always ready to blame the leaf defence but this time around, I think it's heavy drug usage by those in the Detroit high office that ruined their ability to see when someone blows.
