The Detroit News is suggesting that Brendan Shanahan might be headed out of the Motor City. "He'd like to stay. But at 37, and coming off a third straight subpar playoff showing himself, Shanahan knows the team might decide to move in another direction, and he might, too."

As for Yzerman, he might put off retirement. At least, that's what the Detroit Free Press thinks after talking to him. "Red Wings captain Steve Yzerman sure sounded like a man who was considering playing another season Thursday," the paper reported on May 5. I, for one, can't imagine him playing another year, but I've been wrong before. What do you all think?
