The Detroit Red Wings have set a team record by winning their 9th straight game.

According to the Associated Press, "Even a puck to the face couldn't stop Dan Cleary... Cleary scored two goals and Dominik Hasek made 15 saves to help the Detroit Red Wings win their ninth straight game, 4-1 over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night. The winning streak tied a franchise record." So how long can they keep this up?

15 saves? Hasek wasn't too busy - but happy to see the Great One - okay the other Great One - back32 shots stopped by Leclaire and two goals on 2 powerplays.
This wasn't leclaire's game to lose.

So now that Hasek is here and Osgood was so hot - what happens next? Does hasek put his ego away and give the backup more chances?

I would hope so. Hasek isn't getting any younger, and using Osgood to spell him frequently would keep him fresh for the playoffs.

Yeah, LeClaire has been the team this year...but my boys need a scoring punch...maybe the Wings are the wrong team to get it against, obviously.
