| Schneider goes, and Rafalski comes in This on nhl.com:
Just hours after losing Schneider's services after the 38-year-old veteran signed a two-year deal with the Ducks, Detroit found a replacement in unrestricted free-agent Brian rafalski who had played for the Devils since joining the League in 1999. Rafalski signed a five-year deal that was made possible, in part, by the money freed up through the departure of Schneider. Rafalski is a younger, more mobile version of what the Wings lost with the departure of Schneider.
Nice one. |
