There is talk in the Detroit papers that the Swedes will be docked for missing yesterday's game in San Jose. It looks like their presence was missed. Especially after what was a two week break for some players, the 5 Swedes and the other two players who participated in the medal round would be crisp unless they're suffering from jet lag.

I hope this turns out just to be a rumor. It'd be a shame if these guys would wind up being penalized for playing in the Olympics, and not just participating but doing well. It certainly would make some players think twice about playing in future Games.
