The Detroit Pistons won Game 1 of their second round series against the Orlando Magic yesterday, 91-72.

According to the Associated Press, "[Chauncey] Billups had 19 points and seven assists, despite resting in the fourth quarter, and Richard Hamilton scored 17 to outscore Orlando’s starting backcourt by 25 points... Tayshaun Prince scored 12 points and Jason Maxiell had 10 of his 12 in the fourth quarter, showing surprising touch on jumpers and free throws."

Not sure what's worse news... that the Pistons lost yesterday, or that Chauncey Billups got hurt.

According to the Associated Press, "the Magic beat the Detroit Pistons 111-86 on Wednesday night to gain a little momentum in the Eastern Conference semifinals... All-Star guard Chauncey Billups strained his right hamstring early in the first quarter and didn’t return. The Pistons were hopeful he could play in Game 4 Saturday in Orlando, but planned to re-evaluate him again Thursday."
