The Detroit Pistons won their sixth straight game yesterday, beating New Jersey 101-83. According to the Associated Press, "Richard Hamilton scored 22 points and the Pistons shot 78 percent in the third quarter" while Chauncey Billups "scored eight of his 17 points and handed out four of his 10 assists in the quarter in helping the Pistons turn a one-point halftime lead into a 14-point laugher." Looks like this team isn't conceding the East to the Celtics just yet, eh?

Great game to watch if you are a Celtics fan. After the 1st qtr. they were down by 10 or 12 and still not leading at the half. KG had foul problems early on and "Big Baby", Glen Davis, provided them with some major bench points. Tough loss for either one, but added some more verification of how well rounded this Celtics team is.

Well, it's about a month later and Detroit's got a new winning streak going - nine in a row with yesterday's 94-90 win over Atlanta.
