Re: Eddie Drummond - not just a kick returner

Detroit Lions kick returner Eddie Drummond as earned himself a spot as the backup to slot receiver Mike Furrey, according to this story. Drummond caught five passes for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Lions 20-13 loss to the Bills on Thursday.

"I appreciate the opportunity that coach Mike Martz gave me this year," Drummond told reporters. "I've been waiting for it for four years and I've been proving to them at practice and, as you saw, in game situations." Apparently, this is also another nail in Charlie Roger's coffin. Would you take Drummond over Rogers?
