| Re: Detroit Lions training camp According to this, the biggest obstacle facing the Detroit Lions is adjusting to their new coaching staff, which means getting used to head coach Rod Marinelli's high-intensity practice style and learning Mike Martz's offensive gameplan. According to this, Jon Kitna (who will likely open the season as the starting QB) currently only has about 30% of it down, which means the Lions have a lot of work to do over the summer.
