Lions select Gosder Cherilus
The Lions traded down to the 17th pick, and with it they selected OT Gosder Cherilus, Boston College.

So what do you think about this pick? Good one?

Terrible pick. Why not Mendenhall? Jeff Otah? Sam Baker? Mike Jenkins?
Mel Kiper had him ranked #32 overall; Scout.com had him as just the 6th ranked tackle in the draft.
