Jeff Backus addressed Mike Martz's comments that the Detroit Lions were 2 tackles short of an offensive line. But he wouldnt dwell on Martz.

Seems to be a lot of this going around in Detroit, doesnt there?

Darn! Hope I live long enough to see those both happen (Lions winning and a woman NFL Commish.) You do remember that Condoleeza Rice said that being NFL Commish would be her dream job?

Martz is a bum but the Lions are pathetic and the O-line is probably their biggest weakness. Look at the bright side, even if the bum is right he didn't say anything about the center or 2 guards!
