Jon Kitna repeated his 10 win prediction(sort of) by saying he would be disappointed with less than 10 wins. Among other things he points to a return of RB Tatum Bell to support his belief that the Lions will be improved in 2008.
Maybe the doctors should check him for concussions. If the Lions do improve, it wont be due to the efforts of Tatum Bell.

I don't see how they can even think they will be as good as last year. They lost too much and haven't replaced anybody.

He could have said "I'd be disappointed if we didnt get 10 wins" and left Tatum Bell's name out of it entirely. Bell is not going to be part of the improvement.

I like Bell, I say he will be...though Kitna is a 8-9 win quaterback in a 10-13 win quaterback world...he won't get it done.

When he said it last year it was laughable- to repeat it is moronic. It would be like Rosie O'Donnell entering a beauty contest for the second year in a row and still expecting to win it after coming in last the time before.

I don't think anyone's faulting him for what he said - I'm certainly not, because it wasn't a prediction, really. He's setting the bar mighty high, though, and I (among others) definitely get the feeling that by these standards, he's going to come away disappointed in the season. The team just isn't any better.

I dont see it as a prediction. I think he was trying to motivate his team by saying we can do it attitude. He probly didnt realize it would turn into such a big deal either

That's a good attitude to have, but if you say you think you're going to do something is a prediction and the media loves to make stuff out of this. Guess what Kinta you can have the best attitude in the world but in the end you're still going to be just plain awful.
