| Lions to Bring Back Foster and Bell The Detroit Lions re-signed two free agents on Monday who figure to play a prominent role in their offense next season. The Lions announced they have re-signed offensive tackle George Foster to an undisclosed one-year contract. NFL Network's Adam Schefter is also reporting the club has re-signed running back Tatum Bell to a one-year, $1.6 million deal. Bell appears to be in line for an expanded role in the Lions offense this season under coordinator Jim Colletto, who has promised a more balanced attack. Starter Kevin Jones and reserve Brian Calhoun ended the season with knee injuries. Unrestricted free agent T.J. Duckett, who played in 12 games with one start in his only season in Detroit, left to sign a five-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. Lions bring back Bell, Foster with one-year deals
