| Re: Fire Matt Millen! Ah, so now the mass media outlets join in on the cry that has been championed on this board and amongst the Detroit football fans for who knows how long -- FIRE MATT MILLEN! Great article about the 187 different ways in which Millen botched the Joey Harrington trade, from falsely accusing the Dolphins of violating the salary cap to trying to strongarm Miami into parting with a fourth round pick when he had zero leverage whatsoever. And let's not forget his drafts, his coaching hires, etc. etc. etc. Somebody needs to go buy the domain name FireMattMillen.com... I have the feeling it's going to be a very popular website this season...  |

| Re: Fire Matt Millen! Think about it. What did Millen ever do to deserve this job? He was a football player and a TV commentator. As far as I know, he never coached or worked in a front office. Am I right about that? |

| Re: Fire Matt Millen! To the best of my knowledge, you're right Pundit. No experience whatsoever. Yet another reporter jumping on the Fire Millen! bandwagon. This is from Tom Kowalski of mlive.com. "When it comes to Harrington, Millen blew it big-time," Kowalski writes. "And, he's in a no-win situation. Whether Harrington proves to be a capable quarterback with the Miami Dolphins or he fizzles away into oblivion, it doesn't matter. "It boils down to this: Either Millen drafted the wrong quarterback and stuck with him far too long, crippling the organization along the way or, he drafted the right guy and paired him with a couple of coaches who couldn't utilize his talents, crippling the organization along the way.
