For the second consecutive December, Detroit Lions running back Kevin Jones has suffered a serious injury. Last year, it was his left foot. This year, it's his right knee.
Jones suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament Sunday against Kansas City.
Coach Rod Marinelli said Monday that doctors will wait for swelling to subside before making a decision on operating. Early indications are that Jones will miss the team's entire off-season program.
Jones suffered the injury when Chiefs cornerback Benny Sapp fell into his right leg after he gained 6 yards on a screen pass.

This guy has had the worst problem with injuries. He can sneeze and tear a ligament.
