Marinelli takes blame for downward spiral

When the Detroit Lions were winning, Rod Marinelli wanted his players to get the attention. Now, as another season disintegrates, the second-year head coach wants to be alone in the spotlight.
"This is on me," he said Monday, in what is becoming a weekly mantra. "I'm the teacher, and when a student fails, the blame is on the teacher. I'm not doing my job."
