Lions still have talent at Receiver

There is no question that Roy Williams has been the Detroit Lions' best receiver over the past couple of years, but that doesn't mean the Lions will take a significant step backward now that he is not in the lineup.
There are three reasons why the Lions receiving corps will still be in good shape for this game, despite the loss of Williams:
Shaun McDonald. While McDonald doesn't have Williams' size and ability to catch the ball in traffic, McDonald has good speed and excellent quickness and is so well-versed in the offense that he knows how to get open.
Mike Furrey. Last year, Furrey led the NFC in catches with 98 and was a big part of Detroit's offense, a role that was diminished this season because McDonald took over that particular slot position.
Calvin Johnson. The Lions rookie receiver is still looking to show people why he was the second overall pick in the draft. It appears he is going to get that opportunity against the Cowboys.
