| Playoff Ship Sinking The water is rushing in, and some Lions have abandoned ship, according to quarterback Jon Kitna. "We don't have a lot of people in our boat right now," Kitna said after the Lions' 42-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. "I'm just talking about us in general. We are not heading in the same direction right now as a football team." The Vikings dominated the Lions in all phases. They scored on their first six possessions, with five offensive touchdowns and a 103-yard kickoff return for a TD. Then they didn't let up, with a successful fake field goal and an unsuccessful halfback pass. Was this the low point of the season? "Yeah," Kitna said. "It was pretty ugly."
