Lions vs. Giants

Detroit Lions will host the New York Giants this week.
Giants got beat by Dallas last week in the battle of the NFC east.
Detroit got beat by Arizona last week at Arizona.
Kitna is the better quarterback at this time and the Lions play tough at home.
Giants have a much higher ranked defense than the Lions.
Will the Giants D have better luck with Kitna than they did with Romo????

From Yahoo:

Quote:
The Lions are considered holding Jones (foot) out of Sunday's game against the Giants in order to preserve him for the Thanksgiving Day contest against the Packers, MLive.com reports.
Recommendation: Jones has needed four or five days to let his foot fully recover after each game, and it complicates matters further that he had to leave Sunday's loss to Arizona twice because of soreness in his surgically-repaired left foot. With the Thanksgiving Day game, he'd be very doubtful to play next Thursday against Green Bay in the wake of a Sunday contest against the Giants. We'll see if this is something the Lions plan on following through with leading into Sunday, but Jones owners may want to scoop T.J. Duckett up off the waiver wire just to hedge their bets for the next two games.
If Jones doesn't play can easily change the outcome of this game so we need to know if he's goanna play or not.

Re: Lions vs. Giants

This is a tough game on both sides. Lions are tough at home and both teams are going to be motivated after a loss. Burress' ankle is really starting to hinder him late in the season just as Kevin Gilbride said it would. Game of the week perhaps.

Game of the Week right here, I can't watch because FOX will air the Packers-Panthers instead. I give this to the Giants 24-13

Re: Lions vs. Giants

Tough game. Eli did well in a bounceback performance. Lions defensive line is really explosive so I knew it was gonna be dog fight in their building. Their a very good team but the Giants secondary although yielding miles of yardage to the veteran QB managed to pick Kitna off 3 key times which doomed the Lions. Mark my words though the Lions will make the playoffs.
