| Kitna angered about illegal hits Jon Kitna hasn't complained about being sacked 32 times, more than any quarterback in the NFL, but Kitna doesn't think referees have done their job in protecting him from illegal hits. In the locker room Sunday, Kitna complained he has been hit illegally other times this year without penalties being called. "I'm getting tired of it," Kitna added. Lions coach Rod Marinelli was diplomatically pointed in his comments about the officials. "I know they do a great job, the officials," Marinelli said at his weekly press conference Monday.
