| Lions secondary plans to learn from mistakes Coach Rod Marinelli doesnt want his players dwelling on the past but he doesnt want them to forget it either. Two of the players involved in a couple of the biggest plays, rookie safety Gerald Alexander and CB Keith Smith, have vowed to learn from their mistakes. Lions had problems defending against the deep pass last Sunday. The Bears arent known as a big downfield passing team, but the Lions know they will take their shots with speedy Bernard Berian.
