| Lions vs. Raiders The Lions are loaded with talent at WR, the latest being Calvin Johnson. Will he be the rookie of the year? Jon Kitna who isnt exactly anyone's idea of a dream of a quarterback, predicts 10 wins for his team. They will make do with Tatum Bell at RB until Kevin Jones is healthy. The defense, rated 26, lost one of their bright spots in corner, Dre Bly. Is there any hope for improvement on this team?

| Re: Lions vs. Raiders The offense should be very good. They have talent all over the place - Kitna, Johnson, Bell, Jones, Roy Williams. And I think they'll be good enough to win this game. But the defense... whew, that's going to have to be better than it looks on paper if they want to get too many more W's in 2007.

| Re: Lions vs. Raiders Raiders made a game of it, but Detroit wins 36-21. Kitna threw for 313 yards and 3 scores, and Tatum Bell shut the Raiders up with a 15-carry, 87-yard, 1-TD performance. Johnson finished with 4 catches for 70 yards and that touchdown. Lions offense is looking good! |

| Re: Lions vs. Raiders If I was surprised by the Packers, I was totally dumbfounded by this team. I picked the Raiders to win because I thought Culpepper was going to start, but he wouldnt have made any diff. Maybe Kitna knew what he was talking about. Maybe this will be a new team. |
