2006 Detroit Lions Football Schedule

With a new coaching staff in place, working on putting together a new team and a new offensive gameplan, it might be awful hard to try and forecast the outcome of the 2006 Detroit Lions Football Schedule.

But let's try anyway!

The Lions play Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, San Francisco, Seattle, Buffalo, Miami and Atlanta at home and travel to Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Arizona, St. Louis, New England, N.Y. Jets and Dallas. Lots of tough opposition here - the Seahawks, Bears, Pats, Falcons... not what a rebuilding team wants to see.

With such a rough schedule, I see a 4-12 season in '06. Anyone disagree?

That's what they've been for five years. They'll win some games, but lose some they will lose some they have no business losing. 7-9.

Re: 2006 Detroit Lions Football Schedule

The sad thing is, anrobins, that I think the core talent is there. Especially on offense. And with Martz on board, its possible things will turn around. But watching this team is like cooking spaghetti - all the noodles are in the pot, but they just aren't boiling. When is this team going to get hot and play up to its potential?

I don't know if it will happen as long as Millen and the Fords are around.
