Sean Yuille of Pride of Detroit Blog thinks the only way that Ford will get the message about Matt Millen is if the fans stop coming to the games.

Something has to be done to open William Clay Ford's eyes to show him that fan support is fading. Although the "Fire Millen" campaign has been going strong for the last few years, Ford Field is almost always filled. If Millen is still around after this season, then the fans have to start protesting in a different type of way. Obviously, the petitions, marches, and chants aren't doing anything, so now it's time to start fighting back financially. Just don't buy tickets anymore.

I agree. Nothing wakes up an owner like empty stands and lost revenue.

I heard a story that the crowd was so out of it in the last Lions game that they didn't even have the energy to do the whole "Fire Millen!" chant thing. Now that's just sad. When your fans are THAT drained, something has to change. Would a boycott work? I don't know. Are people willing to just let their tickets go to waste? Because the ONLY way the message gets through is to have a ton of empty seats during the next game.
