Re: Lions-Vikings game moving to Monday night?

That's the word, according to the Sports Network, which is reporting "The Minnesota Vikings - Detroit Lions game scheduled for Sunday, October 8 may be moved depending on the Minnesota Twins divisional playoff series against the Oakland Athletics... If the Twins' series advances to a Game 5, it will be played on October 8 and the Vikings will then move their game to Monday, October 9." Reactions to this story? Does it seem right that one sport can force another to alter their schedule?

Cool Re: Lions-Vikings game moving to Monday night?

It happens all the time. I've seen concerts cost home teams playoff games. I think the Black Hawks lost a playoff game to the Islanders some eyars ago due to a concert. it was officially a home game for Chicago, but it was played at Nassau COliseum. It's always about the maximization of revenue.
