Nuggets Are For Real

George Karl has the Nuggets runnin and gunnin and this team is 7-1 in the last 8 games. The Nuggets are the #1 scoring team in the league at over 111 ppg and Melo is the top scoring player in the league right now with over 30 ppg. The Nuggets are for real and will be giving alot of teams alot of trouble this year.

Anyone out there to help me start a discussion of the Nuggets?

Hi tremaine, welcome to GoTeamsGo & to our brand new Denver Nuggets forum. You're the 1st poster on the Nuggets but we'll grow quickly.

111 ppg is amazing. What do you think are the biggest worries for Nugget fans as the season starts to take shape? Any of the guys injury prone?

Re: Nuggets Are For Real

Carmelo with 30 ppg right now is insane. I'd be surprised to see him able to keep it up but right now, they're off to a great start for sure.

Add Marcus Camby and his 11+ rbg a game and they're getting solid production in nearly every aspect.

The Northwest battle between Utah and Denver should be fun to watch unfold.

The Nuggets need to cut down on sloppy play: they have too many turnovers and personal fouls. Melo needs to get to the hoop more and J.R. Smith needs to consistently hit 3's and average as close to 20 points a game as possible. And Diawara has to keep hitting some 3's and he should cut down on fouls and play sharper defense.

Those are the most important things right now rmjvol.
