The Broncos may be listening to offers for disgruntled quarterback Jay Cutler at the NFL owners meetings this week. If coach Josh McDaniels has his way, though, they’ll try to work things out to keep Cutler in Denver.
“He’s our quarterback. We can’t predict the future. He’s our quarterback, we want him to be our quarterback, we made that very clear to him and we hope he feels the same way,” McDaniels told the NFL Network on Monday, a day before he speaks publicly about the feud for the first time.



McDaniels reiterated that trade talks never reached owner Pat Bowlen’s desk, a sign that the issue never got to the serious stage.
“Conversations were had and we’ve never denied that, but at the same time it’s our job to look at every opportunity that we can to see if it’s something that could improve our football team, and that’s what we were doing,” McDaniels said.

At this point it doesn't matter what the hell the Bronocos want they broke the bridge with Cutler. I can't blame Cutler for being ☻☻☻☻ed. It's like this.

If you live in New York and your girlfriend moved to New York from Miami and then one of old Miami moved to NYC and she decides to ask him out without telling you and one of your friends tell you she asked him out, but he said no so she stuck with you. I wouldn't want to say with her, why the hell would Jay Cutler.

The Bears better give what ever it takes to make this work, I don't care what it is, Kyle Orton and a Number 1, hell even Kyle Orton and 2 Number ones, just make this happen

I don't think they'll take an O-Lineman unless Andre Smith falls to them, I think they will probably go wideout unless Andre Smith falls, I think they would go with Darious Haywood-Bay or that guy from UNC with that pick. But why wouldn't the Bears seriously trade Orton, a 1st Round Pick, A second Round Pick in next years draft, and even throw Garret Wolfe. That deal would work, probably. When the Bears wouldn't do that I don't know

Its not going to happen. I dont care how many picks or what round, what you are forgetting if they let Cutler go, they dont have a quarterback.

You forget that broncos don't have Cutler as their QB, You have too look at it in Cutler shoe.

When your Coach try to trade you for another QB from his days with another team.

Your Bridge or Connection with that Coach is Broken and would be nearly Impossible to Repaired.

As a player you look at that coach as a high member of that Organization.

Right now, the Scenrio is its either McDaniels Goes and we get a new Coach or I go or I sit out the whole season.

McDaniels can say what he wants to say, but in the end Cutler won't play for them, they have to find a home and right now the Bears would be as good any. Even though I wouldn't rule out the Redskins or Browns in this whole mess

I'll bet my whole monthly paycheck on it.

The Bears have never had a good QB in the past from Free Agent, Draft Pick or Trade, and they never will.

Your chances of dating the Hottest girl is 10x better than the Bears getting a good QB like Cutler.

But for Redskins getting Cutler, there's a good chance.
but for the Browns, I don't see that happening.

I could see the Bears getting Cutler and I think he would help them. The only problem is, the Broncos wouldn't have a QB. On their bench right now is Patrick Ramsey. They could start Kyle Orton if that trade went through. However then your QB is Kyle Orton.

I could however see the Broncos getting someone else from the trade, or a different trade for a different team. Then maybe they could ink a QB like Charlie Batch or David Carr.

I could see Cutler ending up on a few other teams besides the Bears however. Maybe the Jets?

The only way i see it is, Broncos trading cutler to another team for a 1st and 2nd Round Draft pick or a Good player or two.

Broncos will not take Orton for Cutler, and the Bears will not give a 1st round pick for Cutler.

I see Broncos trading Cutler to the Jets for 1st and 2nd round Draft Pick.

The Jets make sense, but then the Jets really would have no QB, Kyle Orton is better than anything the Jets could add to that package. The Bears have as good of chance as anything, the only team that could probably come up with a better QB in the deal is the Browns, but they have no draft picks, the Bears have as good of a chance as anything

Broncos will not take Orton for Cutler, and the Bears will not give a 1st round pick for Cutler.

I see Broncos trading Cutler to the Jets for 1st and 2nd round Draft Pick.

I also think the Jets would throw something else in there.

I don't think they can, because the Broncos want a legit QB in the deal or a draft spot where they can get one, the Jets can provide neither, unless they add the rights to Brett Farve in the deal and let the Broncos pray he isn't acutally done for good

They could give Clemens and then the Broncos can hope Cutler and the Jets do bad and get a good draft pick. Then the Broncos take a QB from the draft. How's that plan?
