| Broncos look at Vanderjagt, Berger The Denver Broncos will work out Mike Vanderjagt,38, to compete with Matt Prater for the kicking job. Mitch Berger,35, is to try out for the punting job. He will compete with Sam Paulescu and Mike Barr. http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_8914837 Since Jack Elam, whom the Broncos released, is 38 also, I can only assume that they are using Vanderjagt to push Prater. It makes no sense otherwise to let Elam go to get Vanderjagt.

| Re: Broncos look at Vanderjagt, Berger Jason Elam, not Jack (although it's funny... I just watched Vera Cruz the other day). At any rate, Vanderjagt? This is Denver's grand plan to replace Elam? I sure hope you're right about this just being to push Prater. |
