Broncos WR Marshall Injurers Arm, After Slipping on McDonald's Wrapper

In the most bizarre off-season injury to date, Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall said he slipped on a McDonalds bag and wound up with his arm wrapped in a cast.

Marshall said he was at the Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando, Fla. on Saturday and slipped and fell on a McDonald's wrapper. When he slipped, he said he stuck out his hand to brace his fall and it went through a TV entertainment center.

His right arm now will be in a cast for two weeks. Marshall also received stitches in his arm, but he did not know how many.

What he did know was that he was embarrassed. One of the league's most physical players was toppled by a plastic bag.

Ouch. Man, it'd be tempting to make up a story, just so you didn't have to admit to... this. Kind of funny, in a different kind of way.

Well they do say fast food is really bad for you and Brandon Marshall can now attest to that!

As an update to this story, last night on NFL Access Schefter said that it now appears that Marshall was wrestling with family members and slipped and put his hand through the entertainment center. It was also said that the injury was more serious than Marshall said.
I have no clue which story is the truth.

The second story sounds more realistic, more plausable. So my money's on it being the MickeyD's wrapper.

The wrapper is the cooler story...I will run with that when we do our podcast thing.

Good point Seahawker, I've got wrappers and other crap all over my room, but I don't slip and fall on my TV.

The official version from the Broncos says that he slipped on the bag while wrestling with family members.
It doesnt say which family member he was wrestling with. Probably a five year old.

freak accident these things cost teams their seasons. i know this isnt during the season, but this will definate hurt his and cutler's rhythm together and will most likely cost the broncos some games early in the season until he can get back into the flow of things

Yeah, freak accidents, I remember some qb that cut his leg when he was moving his stuff to his new team but I cant remember which one. Like wow, how dumb can you be?
Was it a qb to the Bucs? Does anyone remember? He was luckier than Marshall though. It didnt cost him so much.
In this instance, I think Cutler and Marshall need all the help in their timing that they can get.
