Broncos assistant general manager Rick Smith is being mentioned as one of the possible replacements for Charlie Casserly as GM of the Houston Texans. According to this article, "Smith has drawn interest from several teams the past two seasons [and] with longtime Broncos assistant coach Gary Kubiak now head coach in Houston, Smith has some familiarity with how the Texans plan to conduct their football business." Sounds like a good fit to me. How badly would this loss hurt Denver, though?
