Lelie has gone so far as to threaten to sit out next season, so it would be in the Broncos' best interests to try and find a trading partner where they could unload the 26-year-old. He'll be a free agent at the conclusion of next season, which likely means the Broncos won't get much for his services. However, if they unload him to a receiver-needy team such as the
San Diego Chargers , they might be able to land a fourth or fifth-round choice in next year's draft.
Wow...they are already calling for Lelie's head in Bronco land...but to get a 4th or 6th for him?...geez, why do it for that little of a return?...what's fair market value for Lelie?
