Bye-bye to the Barrel Man

The Broncos honored Tim McKernan, a.k.a. the Barrel Man, late in the game Sunday. McKernan, 67, is hanging up his barrel after 30 seasons. He is donating the barrel he wore in his last game to the Broncos' charities. His first barrel, modeled after an Orange Crush bottle, was on exhibit in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. -- Denver Post
