From the dive to TD, Broncos fans have experienced highest of highs

Sometimes, at this time a year, I get a little nostalgic for the good ol' days.

Without the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl for 10 straight years now, the best that Broncos fans can do this time a year is pop the old Super Bowl highlights in the VCR or watch NFL Network or ESPN Classic reruns of highlights from past Super Bowls.

Of course, Broncos fans probably don't want to remember much about the first four, but the last two are pretty fun to think about.

Re: Broncos Super Bowl memories

According to the author of this article, the best moment in Denver Broncos Super Bowl history was what he dubs "The Helicopter" -- "When John Elway did his whirlybird impression as he dove through the air for a first-and-goal in Super Bowl XXXII, it was the defining moment of the game and John Elway's career, giving the Broncos their first Super Bowl victory." Do you agree? Was that the best Super Bowl moment in Denver Broncos history?

Best memory: Craig Morton getting sacked and intercepted multiple times by the Doomsday Defense in 1978...

or maybe Doug Williams taking them apart in 1988....

Well, I'm rather partial to the surgical job Phil Simms did on them in XXI... but I think these are supposed to be good memories for the Denver fans.

Gee, you got to wade through the bad memories to get to the good ones with this franchise...

Cool Re: Broncos Super Bowl memories

When they stopped Brett Favre on the final drive in their first victory and they pulled off the major upset.

I thought Holmgren made a critical mistake in that game., letting them score a TD. Never let a team score - they can fumble, you can make a goal line stand, anything can happen.
