The Denver Broncos have fired defensive coordinator Larry Coyer. Coyer's defense became the first unit in six decades to keep opponents out of the end zone for 11 consecutive quarters. But according to the Associated Press, "Denver gave up an average of 27.7 points in its final seven games, including 83 points in two losses to San Diego." So should Coyer have gotten the axe?

That sounds crazy to me. The person that should be fired is whoever was responsible for thinking that Jake Plummer was the answer at QB.
