That's the question at the heart of this article by David Ramsey of Mercurynews.com.

Ramsey says that the upcoming game against Indy will answer several questions about this Denver club: "Will the Broncos offense awaken? Is the Broncos defense really mighty, or just feasting on lousy teams such as the Raiders and Browns? Will Jake Plummer again resemble an NFL-caliber quarterback? ... We'll know the answers in a week. A pounding at the hands of the Colts will expose the Broncos as pretenders. A Broncos victory will prove they belong among the elite."

So what do you think? Are the Broncos contenders or pretenders in 2006?

Nope...no offense at all...not one that they have shown...I think they are over-rated...in the same sense the Bears Offense is over-rated.

I would bet on the Colts.
