The power play was generating plenty of shots and momentum. Every line was contributing. The defense was strong and the work was translating into another victory.
So this is the Stars team everybody thought would be on display starting in October. Well, they're a little late to the game, but the Stars are finally looking more like the cohesive group that could still get into the playoffs and do something.
It's been a hard three months for the Stars, who have been through the brutal injuries, the disappointing losses and the Sean Avery drama. But with all that behind them, the Stars look as if they're righting their ship. And it couldn't be happening at a better time.
They ended December in high fashion, beating—and beating up—a New Jersey Devils team...
