| Ellis makes 27 saves, Predators beat Stars 3-0 (AP)  Dan Ellis made 27 saves for his second shutout in his last six games, and Joel Ward scored twice in the Nashville Predators' 3-0 victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday night. Ellis has allowed only three goals in his last three starts. He has eight career shutouts, two against the Stars -- the team that originally drafted him.
