The Dallas Stars scored 24 seconds into the game Friday night and Marty Turco made sure that was all they needed. Turco stopped 35 shots, including 17 in the third period, as the Stars beat the Vancouver Canucks 2-0 at GM Place. The win tied the series at 1-1 with Game 3 Sunday in Dallas... "It doesn't mean anything," Turco said about the shutout. "It's all about the win, we got one and we need three more."

Tough loss for the Stars again yesterday. According to the Dallas Morning News, "Taylor Pyatt banged home a one-timer from the high slot at 12:13 of overtime to give the Vancouver Canucks a 2-1 victory in Game 3 Sunday at American Airlines Center... The Stars now have lost five straight playoff games at home with their last victory coming on Steve Ott's overtime game-winner against Colorado in 2004." Turco is now 1-8 lifetime in OT. Any hope for the Stars to come back and win this series?
