Dallas picked up D Willie Mitchell from the Minnesota Wild back on March 9. He had been leading Minnesota with a plus-15 rating over 64 games this season, and had added two goals and six assists on the year. He hasn't yet scored for the Stars, but he is plus-1 in two games. I've never seen the guy play - is he any good?

So the most interesting thing I discovered when I did a search for Willie Mitchell was a site called hockeyfights.com where you can find out about all the fights your favourite player has been in during his career.

yeah no punch line - I was amused at such a site. I was looking for stats (was just interested, seeing as how M. Mitchell was brought up, is all) and I found that site and I was thinking, these guys just take notes of fights? Is somebody really looking for that stat alone?

Sadly, there are individuals who deem themselves "hockey fans" who possibly enjoy the fights more than the games.
