DALLAS — Even with three men down, the Dallas Stars came from behind to beat Minnesota 4-2 on Tuesday night.
Rookie goalie Mike Smith stopped all 15 shots he faced after taking over for Marty Turco. The win snapped the Wild's three-game winning streak. Smith hadn't played since sustaining a concussion in a game on Jan. 4.
Sergei Zubov scored a tiebreaking goal on the power play with 4:41 left for the Stars.
Stu Barnes added his ninth goal of the season with 3:03 left to stretch Dallas' lead to 4-2. Stephane Boucher and Mike Modano also scored for the Stars, 6-2-1 in their last nine games. It was Modano's first goal since Dec. 4. Tuesday night was his fourth game since his return from a hip injury.
