| Dallas Mavericks transactions The Dallas Mavericks have signed free-agent forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu. According to the AP, Pops "averaged 12.6 points and 6.7 rebounds for George Washington last season. He led the Colonels in field-goal percentage [56.4 percent] and blocks [38] and is second on the school's all-time blocks list with 141." Can he help the Mavs?

George was a member of three of L.A.'s championship teams and reportedly signed a two-year, $4.2 million deal to come play for Dallas. George has averaged 6.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in seven seasons; what role does he play for the Dallas Mavericks next season? |
