Could there be a possible Dirk Nowitzki for Kobe Bryant trade in the works? Probably not. But Dallas News writer Jean-Jacques Taylor thinks there should be. In a recent column, Taylor says, "It doesn't matter whether Mark Cuban or Donnie Nelson makes the phone call, but one of them needs to contact Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak today and find out what it takes to get Kobe Bryant... If the answer is Dirk Nowitzki, then so be it... Straight up. No frills. A simple blockbuster... One first-team All-NBA star in his prime for another." Your thoughts?

I can't think of too many other options for a Kobe trade. At least this way they get someone of value.

Bryant isn't going anywhere. He's just testing the organization once again to see how much power he has over it. He's trying to get Jerry West back to put another star player along side him so they can make another run.

That's my gut feeling, too. But it'll be interesting to see what happens if they call his bluff.
