Dallas wins Game 5

Wild game yesterday, which saw the Dallas Mavericks blow a 21-point lead and still hold off the Golden State Warriors, 118-112, to stay alive in the NBA Playoffs. Dirk Nowitzki had 30 points and Howard added 23 in the victory. The series now goes back to Oakland... can the Mavs eek out two wins on the road to hold off this improbable upset?

I was watching the game from my hotel room last night...and Dirk was fantastic...but really...GS gave it away...they held the lead with +2 min on the clock...and couldn't slow it down...shame...they had it.

Cool Re: Dallas wins Game 5

They should put these games on a little later. I was fighting to stay up and kept falling asleep. I think the game ended around 12:30 AM in the east.

The Warriors were up 9 with 3 minutes to go. GS had them, and couldn't put the nail in the coffin. Now I bet you Dallas wins the series.

Nowitzki Brings Mavs Back From Brink in Game 5

After letting a 21-point lead turn into a nine-point deficit in the closing minutes, Dirk Nowitzki came alive with consecutive 3-pointers to start a game-ending 15-0 run that carried the Mavericks past the Golden State Warriors 118-112 Tuesday night.

I was in the midwest (central time)...at a nice Hampton Inn, working out on the treadmill when watching this...didn't end so late for me...

Nothing against Dirk, but yeah, all GS had to do was kill time and double up on Dirk...easier said then done...
