I think everybody has overslept, you know, once or twice in their life," Owens said Monday, more amused than angry that a fuss is being made over something that's happened to him before, though not since he's joined the Cowboys.

"It's not a big deal," he said. "It was not something I purposely tried to do. It's something that I will try to make more of an effort, a better effort, to get here on time. Other than that, it's really not a big issue."

Jerry Jones agrees, pointing out that some of the most upstanding citizens in team history were fined for similar transgressions.

Yeah, what I expected... Owens laughing about it, smiling, brushing things off like its all a big joke. Saying that he'll "try" to do better. That's T.O.'s M.O. Doesn't hurt that this fine of his is about equal to a quarter for you or me. Nothing's changed at all since the end of his Niners career and his Philly days. Same old, same old Terrell Owens. Hell, his agent even has a commercial now for Burger King spoofing that infamous "No Comment" press conference. These guys are laughing all the way to the bank.

Come on guys...the guy is under a freakin magnifying glass...how many of you could do your job under those conditions...I tell you this much, he is better under this type of stress than A-Rod.
