| How long until the T.O. meltdown? How long before new Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens goes off? That question is posed by Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports in his annual "NFC's Burning Questions" feature. The answer? "There shouldn't be a meltdown any time soon, but make no mistake, there will be drama. Terrell Owens can't help himself. Whether it's a sideline rant caught on camera or a subtle dig at Drew Bledsoe, he will do something to draw attention... In the short term, Owens' existence in Dallas should be a mixture of good and bad, with tense moments combined with major offensive dividends." That sound about right to you guys?

That said let me say that I have been a Cowboy's fan since before the team's first Super Bowl appearance. Don't know what's going on in Philly. |

| Re: How long until the T.O. meltdown? So he doesn't make it out of training camp, eh, NMB? Ha ha! I guess I'm slightly more forgiving... I'd give him to about week 4 or so. Another question: when the meltdown happens, who will be the target? Bledsoe? Parcells? The offensive coordinator? Jerry Jones? |

| Re: How long until the T.O. meltdown? Parcells' has the ability to incorporate several different types of characters and player's into his team's and has been successful. But i have to admit Owen's should prove to be Bill's biggest challenge. History has shown that Terrell should do well his first year with a new club.If any one can keep T.O in check it's Bill Parcell's. Jerry Jones structured Owens's contract so that it can be a one-year, two-year or three-year deal, depending on how things work out. He also gave Owens enough money, one would think, to keep him content. Owens receives $10 million in the first year of the deal, and $25 million over three seasons if he stays around that long. T.O will alway's display displeasure at not getting the ball enough, that part of his personality and competitiveness,is alway's gonna be withthin him,i don't think it's something he can turn off and on like a light switch. The level at which he take's his fit's and antic's will be the key to watch. ![]() Last edited by WAREWOLFE94 : 07-25-2006 at 09:54 PM. |

As far as being up there with Bob Hayes, Drew Pearson and Michael Irvin, he has the abilities to do so. Does he have the teamwork mentality required is another question. His history isn't looking good. |
