| Adam Jones' reinstatement still on hold Adam Jones can play in the preseason for the Cowboys, and Jerry Jones is treading lightly about Adam's status. He isn't speculating on when he would hear from Goodell. It could be as late as the week of the Cowboys' September 7 opener against Cleveland. Rookie CB Mike Jenkins will likely start at the left corner against the Chargers in place of the injured Newman, and Jones will be on the right side behind starter Anthony Henry. Goodell will reinstate him. There is no way he is going to buck one of the most powerful owners in the NFL. Apparently Jerry Jones is content to play the waiting game. |
