In keeping with his policy that he started last year in his first year at Cowboys training camp, Coach Phillips is allowing his veterans to skip a practice or two. He says the team has had back to back practices that lasted longer than scheduled and that they were starting to get a little tired.
TO, Jason Witten, Zach Thomas, Flozell Adams and Marc Columbo have had time off.
Jason Witten said it felt funny to be on the field and not practice and that his good friend Tony Romo gave him a hard time about it.
