The Cowboys' assistant linebackers coach Dat Nguyen, and their new linebacker Zach Thomas, have a lot in common.
They are/were both undersized linebackers who relied on their athleticism and instincts brought on by hours of study.
In many ways, they speak the same language.

I remember Nguyen was so quick and all over the place. But to me the main thing that they have in common is their heart. What are your thoughts on this?

I remember when Nguyen came in, he reminded me so much of Thomas.
Glad to see I wasn't the only but. But who knew Thomas would've outlasted Nguyen, or that Nguyen would wind up coaching Thomas? Ha ha!
