Adam Jones has been doing and saying all the right things so far. He did have to testify before the grand jury about the shooting in a Las Vegas club but it was low key.
Now he makes the papers for a good cause. He and a Dallas Maverick got together to buy some furniture and beds for four children whose mother was struggling to house them. Packman says:
"It helped me keep that last thought in my mind: One more slip-up, you can be right back to the hood," Jones said. "Even though I’ve received millions of dollars, I’d give up my whole left leg to stay where I’m at. It’s a blessing. When you’re young and you get all that money, you take it for granted, and then you have a couple of setbacks and you see what life is really about."
Public relations? Yeah, probably but does it matter? AJ is headed in the right direction and substituting good habits for the old.

So far AJ is doing Deon Sanders and Michael Irvin proud. They have been very involved with AJ in their efforts to get his head turned around and headed in the right direction. I hope they succeed for his sake as well as the Cowboys.

I also hope Mr. Jerry Jones doesnt keep making a habit of reclaiming thugs.
